What is Sildenafil?
Sildenafil citrate is the name of the active ingredient in the Pfizer impotence drug Viagra. Since Viagra came off patent in 2013, other pharmaceutical companies have been able to sell generic Sildenafil – also known as generic Viagra to patients in need of erectile dysfunction medication.
Sildenafil enables men with erectile dysfunction to respond to sexual stimulation. It works by helping to relax the blood vessels in the penis, allowing blood to flow into the two large chambers and achieve a hard erection.
